Skywell UK has achieved its strongest sales performance since entering the British market, with May 2026 delivering the highest monthly registration figures in the company's history. The milestone marks a significant achievement for the electric vehicle manufacturer, whose growth has accelerated rapidly throughout the year thanks to a combination of enhanced vehicle specifications, compelling customer incentives, and a steadily expanding retail network.

The company, which launched in the UK in January 2025, has enjoyed a remarkable rise in registrations during 2026. First-quarter registrations increased by 214% compared with the same period last year, while second-quarter figures are currently running more than 550% ahead of 2025 levels. Overall, year-to-date registrations have climbed by 289%, highlighting the growing appeal of the Skywell brand among British motorists.

At the centre of this success is the Skywell BE11 electric SUV. The 2026 model year introduced a range of specification enhancements aimed at improving the ownership experience while maintaining the vehicle's reputation for value. Combined with its spacious cabin, generous standard equipment levels and competitive pricing, the BE11 has become an increasingly attractive proposition within the UK's fast-growing electric SUV segment.

Skywell's retail strategy has also played a key role in driving demand. The company recently introduced a £3,750 EV Switch Incentive, designed to mirror the value of the Government's higher-rate EV grant support. The initiative aims to make the transition to electric mobility more accessible and affordable for consumers who may be considering their first electric vehicle purchase.

Further incentives have strengthened the overall ownership package. Customers can benefit from a £500 Test Drive Voucher, while a partnership with automotive insurance specialist Adrian Flux provides a further £500 contribution towards first-year insurance costs. Together, these offers have helped position the BE11 as a compelling option for buyers seeking maximum value in the electric vehicle market.

Skywell currently operates through a network of 16 retail locations across England and Wales and is actively seeking additional retail partners as part of its next phase of expansion. Opportunities are available in key strategic regions including the West Midlands, the Southeast and Home Counties, the Northeast of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Commenting on the company's performance, Skywell UK General Manager David Clark said the results reflect growing consumer recognition of the value and practicality offered by the BE11.

"We're delighted to see such strong momentum building behind the Skywell brand. Entering Q2, we have just enjoyed our most successful period to date, and the significant growth we've achieved throughout 2026 demonstrates that consumers are increasingly recognising the value, practicality and ownership benefits offered by the Skywell BE11.

"The specification enhancements made to the vehicle, combined with our market-leading customer incentives, are helping more drivers make the switch to electric mobility and with the sales increase within our existing markets, we hope to continue to expand our local dealer presence across the UK to enjoy further growth."

Skywell Dealer Operations Coordinator Sharon Ryan highlighted the contribution made by the brand's retailer network to the company's strong performance.

"The fantastic growth we have achieved is a reflection of the strength of our retailer network. Our retailer teams continue to embrace every opportunity, engage customers with enthusiasm, and represent the brand with pride."

As the UK electric vehicle market continues to evolve, Skywell's recent results demonstrate the importance of combining competitive pricing, strong customer support and attractive ownership incentives. With registrations continuing to rise and expansion plans underway, the company appears well positioned to build on its momentum throughout the remainder of 2026.
