London, 20 November 2024 – INEOS Automotive has announced that production of its Grenadier and Quartermaster models will resume in early January 2025 following the resolution of a critical component shortage that temporarily halted operations in September 2024.
The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Hambach, France, will recommence production, with all supply chain partners fully prepared to support the operation. The swift resolution of this issue underscores INEOS Automotive’s commitment to maintaining its uncompromising standards of quality.
“It’s great news that a solution has been found so quickly,” stated Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. “Automotive supply chains are extremely complex, but we were not willing to compromise on quality. We are satisfied that we have found the best possible outcome.”

A Year of Growth and Resilience
Despite the temporary pause in production, INEOS Automotive’s sales momentum has continued to accelerate. By mid-2024, the company had already surpassed its total Grenadier sales from 2023 and is on track to have over 20,000 vehicles on the road by year’s end.
Sales are now live in 50 countries, with the addition of key markets such as China and Mexico. These expansions, combined with substantial growth in the US, set the stage for a record-breaking 2025.
“By this summer, we had sold as many Grenadiers as we had for the whole of 2023,” Calder added. “With significant growth in major new markets and an expanding global footprint, I believe 2025 is going to be our best year yet.”
Thanks to Loyal Customers
INEOS Automotive has expressed gratitude to its customers for their patience during this challenging period. Calder emphasized the company’s eagerness to get back on track: “We look forward to handing them the keys to their Grenadiers as soon as possible.”
A Global Production Hub in Hambach
